Located along the edge of the Lake in front of the Barbican Arts Centre, The City of London School for Girls is a non-denominational, independent day school, for girls aged 7 to 18.
The School was established with money from a bequest from William Ward of Brixton. It moved to the present premises in the Barbican in 1969. The School is located within the Ward of Cripplegate and is owned by the City of London Corporation.
